Hi.
Could I be different than the typical UT'er? I have some degree of mercury
toxicity left from 25+ years of having 18 mercury fillings, and I also have
hormonal imbalances. When I started chelating Hg [mercury] last Fall, it
affected my adrenals a lot and made me feel more tired. then I was referred
to a natural thyroid hormone / adrenals forum, which I now belong to. I had
a saliva test to check cortisol, and I'm low in cortisol [adrenals output]
and am taking hydro cortisone [HC], which has helped. They say HC will allow
thyroid hormone into the cells.
I decided to try UT again. I did good on it in 2008 but took too much for
too long and it stated to make me very tired for some reason - anyone know
why?. While some of you seem to do great on large amounts of daily UT for
long term, I believe some people need to back off UT after results are seen,
and I think I'm one of those - for whatever reason.
Now I'm wondering if UT can take the place of the HC I take. I had planned
to resume chelating when I get adrenals rebuilt, but with UT back in the
picture I'm not sure what to do. When I chelate I'll be excreting more toxic
metals so it doesn't seem to me that UT would be a good thing to do then,
unless it was only for small amounts, such as a tablespoon or two daily
(which, according to Martha Christy is enough to do a lot of good to many
people), otherwise I'd just be recirculating the toxic metals I'm excreting.

If adrenals are healing they often cause great sleepiness. That is what
happened to me when taking the Australian Bush Flower Essences Dynamis
(heals most of the main glands in the body including the adrenals) and slept
pretty much for 3 days (around the 10th day of so)
I used the Australian Bush Flower Essences purifying to detox the heavy
metals in my body (also does healing of lymph drainage, liver, kidney and
bowels) but it too on the 10 to 14 day can have some healing reactions and a
need to slow this down (also one would need to do the detoxing longer, like
two months longer as it is an indication more needs to be done)
I would not do both at the same time though.
As for the urine I would use it potentized when I used it. Something like a
6C potency three times a day as long as I was having symptoms of toxic load.
(though you need the help of a homeopath to monitor this, though most would
not want you to be using any other healing modalities while using it)
